Kevin Cropp is an Award Winning Finalist for the Best Books of 2006 Book Awards for BEST GENERAL FICTION

Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina - November 7, 2006 /, the premiere online magazine and review website for mainstream and independent publishing houses, announced the winners and finalists of its "BEST BOOKS 2006" BOOK AWARDS (BBA) on November 1, 2006. 408 winners and finalists were announced in over 120 categories covering print, audio, e-books and interactive CD-ROMs. Awards were presented for titles published in 2006 and late 2005.

Jeff Bowen, president and publisher of, said this year's contest yielded an unprecedented number of over 1200 entries which were then narrowed down to 408 winners and finalists.

"The Time Keeper" is an award winning finalist in the category BEST GENERAL FICTION of 2006. Cropp says, "It's nice that people find some merit in my story, and I'm grateful for the recognition." This award is the second for Cropp. Earlier this year he was the award winning finalist for the Benjamin Franklin Award for BEST NEW VOICE of 2006.
